Euclid Partners with COOC 2023
On April 14, 2023, COOC 2023 was held at the Shanghai International Procurement Convention and Exhibition Center. The COOC Conference, a large-scale academic conference and exhibition in the Chinese ophthalmology and optometry industry, has long been renowned and attracts thousands of colleagues in the fields of ophthalmology and visual science for high-level training and exchange of ideas.
Review of Global Academic Papers in 20 Years of Development of Orthokeratology—And The Global Kick-off Meeting of ‘Euclid Trusted Everywhere’
To kick-off the conference, Euclid held a special satellite conference on Review of Global Academic Papers in 20 Years of Development of Orthokeratology and—launched it’s ‘Euclid Trusted Everywhere’ special project.
Attending the meeting were Joe Boorady, chief executive officer of Euclid Vision Group, Nitin Jain, global chief commercialization officer of Euclid Vision Group, Zhang Zhixiang, vice president of Euclid China Market, Lv Fan, professor of Eye Hospital, Wenzhou Medical University, Zhou Xingtao, professor of the Eye & ENT Hospital of Fudan University, and Pauline CHO, former professor of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and professor Mao Xinjie from Eye Hospital, Wenzhou Medical University.
Signing Event of Prof. Lv Fan
At Euclid’s booth A02, a book signing event was held for Professor Lv Fan’s “Contact Lenses and Eye Health,” which was officially launched in 2021. As an authoritative work on myopia prevention and management, as well as clinical diagnosis and treatment, the book explains the role of contact lenses from the perspective of parent concerns around myopia management in children and adolescents. In addition, it provides the latest scientific and technological achievements and research advances in myopia management.
Speaking on behalf of Euclid, Joe Boorady, said that Euclid, as the global leader in active myopia management, will firmly support ophthalmologists and optometrists worldwide, support professional education in eye care, and contribute to eye health together with all professionals.
Academic sharing at the booth
Following the “clinical” concept of the conference, Euclid held an academic sharing session at the booth, where experts in the field shared their academic achievements and dispensing knowledge to help others take their education to the next level.
Hands-on Workshop
In addition, Euclid also held an all-day hand-on workshop to offer in-person guidance on the fitting process share for a more “immersive” experience!
On the morning of April 15, 2023, Euclid invited Professor Liu Yue, to the Euclid booth in a face-to-face session. Zhang Zhixiang, vice president of Euclid China, and Professor Liu Yue discussed personalized customization for myopia prevention and management.
