Euclid Vision and Visionary Optics Continue Sales Force Expansion with Addition of New Account Executive

STERLING, Virginia, January 23, 2024 – Euclid Vision Corporation (Euclid), a global leader in advanced orthokeratology (Ortho-K) lenses and proactive myopia management initiatives, and Visionary Optics (VO), a leader in the design and manufacturing of scleral contact lenses, announced the addition of account executive John Honovic to its joint sales team. This expansion sets the stage for continued growth and innovation. Mr. Honovic will be responsible for the Northeast Region focusing on major metro markets in and around New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, and Hartford.

Mr. Honovic is an award-winning sales professional who has three decades of specialty eyecare experience including training as a licensed optician. He uses his knowledge and experience in the optical field to assist eye care providers (ECPs) in maximizing the specialty segment of their practices. “John is passionate about building high-performing sales strategies and empowering clients to reach their full potential, while ensuring they receive the best possible service and solutions. We are excited to have him bring his expertise to the already talented Euclid and Visionary Optics sales team,” said David Bland, U.S. Vice President of Sales. “The continued expansion of our team–while many others in our field are cutting back—is a reflection of our commitment to our eye care provider customers and their patients,” explained Mr. Bland.

Mr. Honovic has a proven track record of driving business development and exceeding sales targets across the optical, medical, and pharmaceutical markets. His career trajectory is a testament to his strategic thinking and customer-centric approach. “John’s success comes from his commitment to delivering excellence in customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem solving, and building trust to sustain long-term relationships. Prior to joining Euclid Vision and Visionary Optics, Mr. Honovic was a recipient of the Distinguished Performance Award (Paragon Vision, Cooper Vision Specialty Eyecare) and the Chairman’s Club Award (Nova Bay Pharmaceuticals). Earlier in his career he presented expert product training and drove sales volume for Hoya Vision Care products, and developed annual business and marketing plans an optical sales associate with Hudson Eye Physician and Surgeons.
