STERLING, Va., June 11, 2026 — Euclid Vision Corporation, a global leader in advanced orthokeratology and specialty contact lenses, today announced that Be Free Day toric lenses have received FDA clearance¹ and will be available in the United States in fall 2026, adding a daily disposable multifocal-toric lens option for patients with myopia and astigmatism.
With clinically significant astigmatism affecting approximately 25% of patients with myopia, the addition of a toric lens option addresses a common fitting need among patients who require astigmatic correction.²
“The Be Free Day spherical lens has been a tremendous success in my practice since it launched. With a toric lens option, it gives me a better way to support my patients with myopia and astigmatism—while keeping the fitting process simple,” said Dr. Brianna Rhue, OD, FAAO, a clinical innovator in myopia management and early adopter of Be Free Day lenses in her practice.
Built with technology from the Brien Holden Vision Institute (BHVI), the new multifocal-toric lens option combines the optical design and properties of Be Free Day spherical lenses with toric correction for patients with astigmatism. In patient-reported outcomes, Be Free Day lenses have received strong satisfaction ratings for vision, comfort and overall wear experience.³
“We are excited about adding a novel toric lens to our daily disposable lens franchise, giving eye care professionals science-driven options that fit into real-world clinical workflows,” said Linda Chang, CEO of Euclid Vision. “Be Free Day toric lenses broaden our support of practitioners seeking flexible lens options for modern myopia care.”
Eyecare practitioners looking to familiarize themselves with Be Free Day lenses ahead of the upcoming toric lens launch can request their spherical trial kits at EuclidLenses.com/BeFreeDay.
